These images follow the idea that Moira had about consumerism, and that everybody looks the same. Using Barbie dolls to re-create perfect beauty and body shape.
'Stefano Pilati, the Yves Saint Laurent designer, is a man obssessed by feminine beauty and the elegant glamour of a world gone by, a place in the mind where beauty is so absolute it becomes almost abstract. Sometimes nostalgic, sometimes playful.' Miniature clothes and accessories were fabricated especially for this shoot, which took place in a Paris apartement. The dolls portray the screen stars of his dreams- the diamonds, the perfect hair and make-up, the fantastically long legs, the camera, the action.
