TEST SHOTS

Copyright Marie Benli.

These are some of the test shots that we did to check if the projector idea was really working.
And you can see that it happily did! :) But we still have to photoshop the background and heads out to make the images stand out on the children more.

STREET FASHION- KIDS STYLE...

Just some images of kids with a great sense of style from the magazine MiLK...

LA MODE EN LUMIERE

I went to Lyon last weekend and as I was about to fly home I had a look through the duty free shops. I found this great magazine called MILK its a fashion magazine for kids, but it's only for parents to read, as the writing is not like you would see in other kids magazines.
Anyway, there was this page inside that spoke about this ongoing exhibition near Paris where children would go in and draw anything they wanted onto a computer, the drawings would then be projected onto each kid wearing a white T-shirt, and as you can see in the photos it looks like they have each designed their own T-shirts. I thought this was such a creative idea! I wish I was still a kid...

RIBBED MAGAZINE

These are some images from this online magazine I found called RIBBED, it talks about, fashion, music, cinema and the arts in general. It is a mix between Dazed and Confused magazine and Art Review. It shows a fresh eye on the art scene and introduces new artists, musicians and fashion stylists.

TERRY RICHARDSON

One of my favourite photographers! He is a very popular photographer for Purple magazine, Vice magazine and many designer campaigns. His style is very recognisable; simple, white backgrounds, everyday people and trashy looks and poses.

MIROSLAV TICHY

I found this photographer randomly and thought his work was brilliant. He was a painter  up until the 1950s when he quit and started to take photos with his homemade camera. He also framed his photos himself using paper and a pen. I love his simplicity and creativity.

LOGAN WHITE

I was looking through the Vice Magazine website and I found this set of photographs called Blood Roses by Logan White. This is the style of photography that I like, simple and non-digital, just like a snapshot.

JEAN COCTEAU

"An artist cannot speak about his art any more than a plant can discuss horticulture." Jean Cocteau

So I had to do a project on a Style Icon, and I picked Jean Cocteau and found out that he was a very big part in the start of surrealism art and Avant-Garde films. It seems that he was a very charismatic person, his dress sense is very dapper but yet quirky.
The second image is the final product for that project, it is a 3D style page about him and his look.

LE FABULEUX DESTIN D'AMELIE POULAIN

One of the most beautifully made films I have ever seen. Jean Pierre Jeunet has such a defined style. The colours in every scene makes the film look so poetic, aswell as the storyline.

TRACEY EMIN

I like her work so much, and I can't even explain why. Its like she's lived a thousand lives and lets us know about it through her art.
